The APEA Customer Service Award is open to those organisations or individuals who have put the customer first and demonstrated excellence in service provision.
In giving the award to the fuel site decommissioning and tank cleaning specialist, the judges said: “DP fuel Tank Services submission clearly demonstrated its commitment and effort in improving customer service. Its comprehensive approach - from job enquiry to job completion - includes its customer newsletter and notification process to the community affected by site works.
Says Kathy Early, managing director of DP fuel Tank Services: “We work very hard at ensuring that our customers are happy with the service we provide and we are delighted that our efforts have been recognised. Like health and safety, it is an ethos that goes right through the company, with the site personnel just as enthusiastic as we are as directors. We were even more pleased when we saw the very strong organisations we were up against.”
