Two DP Fuel Tank Services employees have been presented with safety awards by a major civil engineering company, recognising their skill, knowledge and attention to detail.

Gary Reeve was presented with the Site Supervisor of the Year award and Liam Moore, DP FTS's specialist machine driver, was given Operative of the Year.

Says DP FTS managing director Kathy Early: "Gary has always been an outstanding member of our team, but last year he excelled himself. He ran two very different challenging sites and received commendations for both. He has paid great attention to details and planning, which has borne fruit on all his site audits; both planned and spot checks.

"Liam is passionate about health and safety. He is a firm believer in being his brother?s keeper, and will stop anyone who looks like he is about to do something dangerous. In his own time, and at his own expense, he has pursued his interest in health and safety by becoming an active member of St John Ambulance."
