Below Ground Diesel Tank Samples
The below photograph shows three samples that have been taken from a below ground diesel tank. The middle sample was obtained from the bottom of the fill pipe, whilst the other two were obtained using specialist equipment from each tank end. You can clearly see where the contamination lies.
So employing the specialists at DP FTS you can be certain problems won’t go un-noticed.
Our Testing of the Fuel Samples are also amongst the most thorough available. We obtain sufficient samples whilst on-site to ensure that if a particular test highlights an issue, further testing can be undertaken to confirm conditions etc. An example is testing for water. If water is present, it points to the potential of bacteria being present, this would be another common test undertaken, but we don’t stop there. We will also check for acid within the water, Bacteria (some species) can excrete acids which can corrode steel tanks very quickly, so this test will also safe guard your assets.
